Nabiac Bridge
The bridge was demolished by Southern Cross in 2006 and was part of the redevelopment and upgrade of the part of the Pacific Hwy in this area which is South of Taree (mid coast NSW). The work was undertaken for principal contractor Baulderstone Hornibrook.
The steel truss bridge was first lightened by removing the concrete deck and steel supports after which the 82 tonne truss sections were then lifted in situ and removed using a 200 tonne crane.
